All Sorts of Interesting

The night started out slow, but it picked up rather nicely. I really wish I could have sang more, but my voice was thrashed. But since I didn’t feel like drinking, it was much better to watch everything unfold through sober eyes. Really.

Quote(s) of the Night:
You guys kill me. All sorts of interesting stuff was going on and that produced a few quotable quotes.

“Don’t light a match near my mouth.”
saith Joelle after trying the vodka tonic that Pete poured for her.

“I don’t care if you love me or not, I’m gonna tell you how it is.”
That would be Toby.

“I like fruitier pussy.”
saith Mike after he drank the Wet Pussy shot.

Why The Hell Did You Sing That?:
Jake and his friend did Huey Lewis and Gwynnie’s version of “Cruising”.
As much as I love Jake, it really wasn’t the best choice for him.

I’m So Glad You Sang That:
So many good songs….Roger did “War Pigs” again. Russ let me play lotto and sang Journey for me. And then there was Ms. Joelle. How can you not love a beautiful woman singing about getting her groove on?

Excuse For Staying Until Last Call:
Why not?

Shout Outs:
Darrell keeps coming strong with the Jimmy’s “Pain”. And Cool T Shirt Guy had a fun tee with a monkey and a spaceship or something or rather.

And last but not least, a big shout out to Lushy who was visiting from New Mexico. See you back at the Lamp in December.
